Monad:
(from Greek μονάς monas, “singularity” in turn from μόνος monos, “alone”) refers, in cosmogony, to the Supreme Being, divinity or the totality of all things. The concept was reportedly conceived by the Pythagoreans and may refer variously to a single source acting alone, or to an indivisible origin, or to both.
The Pythagoreans, who called the first thing that came into existence the “monad”, which genrate the dyad (from the Greek word for two), which generate the numbers, which begat the point, begetting lines or finiteness, etc.
It meant divinity, the first being, or the totality of all beings, referring in cosmogony variously to source acting alone and/or an indivisible origin.
The circled dot was used by the Pythagoreans and later Greeks to represent the first metaphysical being, the Monad or the Absolute.

The monad refer to a singularity emerging from the nothingness, and from which everythings is originated. It suppose a common origin and unity of all component of the universe.

Enûma Elish EP is the result of three musicians’ exploration during a 4 days long residency.

Mythologic waters, mesopotamian cosmosgonies and greek aphorisms merge in this 25 mn long record where the auditor is led through a universe made of etheric waves and asymmetric rhythms.

The album was recorded live in one shot (except additionnal keyboard and percussions) to capture the moment.

The artwork is made with the waveform of the track “Enûma Elish” and his cuneiform writing.
