Waagal is a one-man band led by multi-instrumentalist Erwann Texier-Harth.
Through a performance that is both physical and immersive, he pushes the boundaries of solo live music to create an organic and captivating sound, using instruments such as the handpan, kashakas, didgeridoo, synthesizer, among others.
Enriched by throat singing and the use of ancient or reconstructed languages, Waagal weaves a connection between the sounds of the past and those of today. He draws inspiration from the roots of humanity and prehistoric cultures, paying tribute to ancestral traditions.
At the crossroads of world music, contemporary sound exploration, and rhythmic experimentation, Waagal offers an experience that is both sensory and immersive. His universe blends the natural and the electronic, meditative introspection and vibrant energy, to deliver music that is as organic as it is innovative.Inspired by cultures from around the world and what connects them, Waagal proposes a personal, humble, and deeply immersive musical synthesis.
